Default "control userpasswords2"....

when I played around I somehow made my girlfriend's user account disappear,
but not altogether gone. when I try to create a new acount with her name am
told account already exists. It does not show on welcome screen, only mine
is there.
It happened when I found "control userpasswords2", now I need to fix
this...anyone know how? thanks
