Print spooler problems
I had to have a new motherboard and CPU installed. Now I can no longer print.
In Control Panel | Printers I have no printers listed (I used to). I click Add Printer and get: Operation could not be completed the print spooler service is not running. So I try to start the service and get: Could not start the Print Spooler service on Local Computer. Error 1068: The dependancy service or group failed to start. Now what? Jon |

Print spooler problems
Ah, another Lexmark owner (or a Dell which is a re-badged Lexmark).... the
solution is to remove the dependency. Print spooler problems
Ah, you nailed it. I have a Lexmark printer I don't use much and a Samsung I
use all the time. When I saw the Lexmark service was disabled, I figured that was what the spooler service was depending on, so I re-enabled it and made it start automatically. Now my printers show and my documents print. Why the change in motherboard disabled the Lexmark service, I don't know. But now it works. Thanks.
