Using Exploere to write to CD
On my PC I write to a CD using explorer. Simply copy the data required paste
it to the CD then use File - write these files to CD. However this is not the case on all of the other PC’s I am using. Some have software such as Roxio . In these cases the explorer option doesn’t work. Is there any way I can set up XP to overide the Roxio and use Explorer. |

Using Exploere to write to CD
You will first have to disable or uninstall Roxio. I have no idea how you
disable Roxio, it probably runs all of the time. CD Drive enable XP's recording wizard Open My Computer, right click the CD Drive icon and then click Properties. Click the Recording tab. Check: Enable CD recording on this drive Click: Apply Click: OK Picture of CD Drive Properties http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/i...dburnfig01.jpg Enable CD recording on this drive This setting turns on the built-in CD recording features included with Windows XP. Third-party programs sometimes disable this setting. You can only enable CD recording for one device at a time. -- Hope this helps. Let us know.
