You got plenty of decent help here. It just wasn't what you wanted to
hear.

Absolutely not and a couple regulars here agree. I never refused any
suggestions. Most all of them I had already tried without success and I
stated that at the time. If that is refusing help then you need to get a
better understanding. The first suggestion was to reinstall. Which seems
to be the standard answer out of Windows users who don't know what they
are doing. Which at that time I didn't want to. I wanted to see if there
was a solution to the problem. For your information I did finally do a
reinstall and the same problem is still there so that was not the solution.

You don't have access to the email conversation that Chris and I had
after that.

You may have been allowed back on, but the cited message clearly states
that you were banned for at least a while.

No he wasn't. Chris's message said, "...this message is to inform you
that YOUR FUTURE INFRINGING POSTS will be removed from the news server

I went to microsoft.com did a search in MS's site. It came up with; How

So evidently Microsoft was in the link.

Maybe but don't post a link with something that might look like "code"
(the "vutum9hing.....com" for example; I will never click on such a link
and maybe I missed other links you posted.

I don't understand why third party browsers don't work with your system;
it's very unusual.

Well those were the only links I posted if I remember correctly.
I don't think this is a third party browser problem. It's IE not doing
what it is suppose to do. The weird thing is that when this happens and
IE starts, when the link is clicked in Firefox, IE does not show up as
one of the running processes. If IE is started up on it's own it does
show up as one of the running processes.

Wait a minute - I just read that message. It was not just a warning, it
was a statement that certain message of yours will be removed from the
group.

That's not the same as being kicked off the group, but it is certainly
tantamount to being partially kicked off.

It is *not enough* for "Microsoft [to be] in the link" - it has to be as
I described in my post:

http://microsft.com/stuff (and so on)

The links you quoted (that I clipped) obey that, but your remark needed
to be clarified.

microsft.com appears more than once in your email. A goof like that can
lead to a "bad" website.
