Network using Crossways cable
I have two laptops running on XP and I can't connect them using a crossways
cable. I have tried using the various network wizards but to no avail!! Can anyone help?? |

Network using Crossways cable
Install TCP/IP protocol on both
Set address on Laptop 1 IP Address: 192.168.1.1 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Gateway: 192.168.1.1 Set address on Laptop 2 IP Address: 192.168.1.2 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Gateway: 192.168.1.2 Install File & Printer Sharing Now they should see each other If that is to terse try the guides here http://www.windowsnetworking.com/ Regards Mark Dormer "Adele" wrote in message ...
