Not Installing SP3, so this question...
Because my Windows SP2 will undoubtedly run pretty good until Windows 7 is
out and tested by the public, and because it's time to get ready to rebuild my computer I won't be installing SP3. However, last August, Windows Update had downloaded, but not installed (my call) SP3. I knew I wasn't ready for it. So I have 569 MB of SP3 in the Software Distribution download folder taking up space. Can I just delete it from the download folder? It is at this address: C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download\cf8ec753e 88561d2ddb53e183dc05c3e Since it's so large, should I do it all at once, or open its folder and delete the files in four or five parts? |
