Linux strikes back...
It it pushed through automatic updates ? And your point? If I need to explain that, well....OK..... If IE was already the browser leader, and you have automatic updates turned on, you are offered IE8. You update to IE8. Why? Offered and forced to update aren't the same thing. You have no idea how many did or didn't update, do you. You just like to parse your words to your liking. Then you get caught in your own stupid, meaningless diatribe. Everyone in here watches you do that all the time. 1) *You* have no idea who updated or not either. If you were to look, you could see that the 'market share' of earlier versions goes down as IE8's 'market share' goes up. 2) It was a sensible hypothesis, and anyone that can be objective I think would agree. 3) It wasn't a stupid meaningless diatribe. That's your job. It could be because you (not you specifically) 1) blindly apply all updates MS send out, 2) are told by MS that it is the safest browser yet, or 3) (whatever reason)..... .......regardless, what would be so spectacular about what was the most used browser, IE (all versions), being upgraded to IE8 and *still* being the most used browser ? I don't get it. Did you miss the part where the OP claimed that IE8 had recouped all the users they lost to FF...and more ? And maybe you can tell me...what does all this have to do with Linux ? (But no, don't tell me anything. This threrad has been beat to death and was obviously created to be just a troll thread. Created by a Windows troll, not a Linux troll.) Yeah, and you are the one of the ones who beat it to death. Oh and it's "thread". No, it was you and Alias and Pork Puller that killed this thread. Do I need to count how many posts each of you made in this thread ? Let's try to be realistic for once, can you ? That was a typo. Of which you make constantly. Obviously you knew exactly what I meant. Do you have anything even remotely intelligent to add ? (I didn't think so, now beat it son, you bother me.) |

If you were to look, you could see that the 'market share' of earlier versions goes down as IE8's 'market share' goes up. Well DUH...How long did it take for you realize that market rule? 2) It was a sensible hypothesis, and anyone that can be objective I think would agree. There is something really wrong with you. 3) It wasn't a stupid meaningless diatribe. Of course it was. That's your job. No, that is what you're in charge of...stupid, diatribes, and vile disgusting insults to others family members. You're a weak little coward...just like your butt-buddy alias, the sheep-****er is. Do I need to count how many posts each of you made in this thread ? Like I give a ****. WTF do you think you are, anyway? Let's try to be realistic for once, can you ? Something you certainly can't seem to do. That was a typo. Of which you make constantly. Blame your incompetence on others. You're famous for doing that. Obviously you knew exactly what I meant. Keep ass-uming...you are getting good at it. Do you have anything even remotely intelligent to add ? Only that you're an arrogant asshole. Got it? (I didn't think so, now beat it son, you bother me.) Son? Wanna go a few rounds with me old man? No? Figures. You're a really vile, disgusting, POS big mouthed loser. Go **** yourself as I'm sure no one else in there right mind would want anything to do with a ****wit moron loser like you. Post your diatribe response here--- |

Just goes to show that if you have enough advertising money, you can sell anything. Remember how many idiots bought AOL? If it wasn't for those 'idiots', the internet wouldn't be what it is today..... Before AOL, it was 1200 baud BBS....(OK, maybe 9600) AOL marketing is what opened up the entire online world to America. It was friggin' genius........pump out disk's and CD's millions at a time making them cost very little per unit, then dump them off at every POS location in the country and have them labelled free....as well as a mailing campaign. The shear numbers of AOL subscribers dwarfed any other single online service, like Compuserve...... And AOL made a killing right up until the merger with T/W. That being said, that doesn't mean they were the best provider, but, I really don't think we'd be where we are today w/AOL. .......(or Compuserve if that would have taken off and been the leader, or maybe even some other company....but it was in fact AOL.) |
