Would a long CAT 5 cable (say 75 feet) yield a slower
internet connection that a short distance cable? If so would a cat 5e or cat6 cable improve that? |

cables
speed of light and electricity 900,000,000 feet per second,
time to travel on either a 5 foot or a 75 foot wire almost immeasurably short. The factors that effect the connection are number of computer on the circuit and the number of collisions of packets. Better cables have better shielding from outside noise, requiring fewer retransmissions so overall performance might improve.
