It sounds like you're referring to the menu bar in Internet
Explorer 7.

To temporarily display the menu bar tap the Alt key.

To permanently display the menu bar click on Tools in the
Command bar on the right hand side of the browser.
On the menu that drops down, click on Menu Bar to add a check
mark next to this entry.
You should now see the menu bar displayed.

FYI, questions about Internet Explorer 7 should be posted in
the IE7 newsgroup.

With the additional information you provided, I think I now
understand your question.

Your AutoCAD program includes a feature that lets you customize
its toolbar menus. Those settings are saved in a file named
Acad.mns.
Is that correct?

You're asking if Windows XP has the same feature so that you
can change the menus available in the Windows Explorer toolbar.
Is that correct?

I may be wrong, but I don't think there's any way to do that in
Windows XP. There may be programs that are alternatives to
Windows Explorer with that feature. I'm not aware of any.

If you haven't done so already, you might want to post your
question to the Windows XP General newsgroup.

Hi Adesu,

As I mentioned in my earlier response, I don't think it's
possible to make major changes to the toolbar menus in Windows
Explorer.

I also pointed out that there are a number of file manager
programs available that people use as an alternative to Windows
Explorer. Most of these programs can be customized by the user.
Here's a list of programs you might want to consider testing to
see if one of them has the features you're looking for. Some
are freeware.

Here's a free program you might consider.

It can be downloaded here.

Finally, as I suggested in my earlier response, you might want
to post your question to the XP General newsgroup. Your
questions will be seen by a larger group of people who may have
other suggestions.
