Default directory drag and drop- Path Alias?

I have certain directories that I am always getting into..that I have to
path into.. that are long and I have to remember etc.
Is there a way to Drag and Drop a Directory Path (perhaps with an Alias like
mydocs is) onto the Explorer bar or on the left side of the directory dialog
box (say in other places, file and folder tasks or details)?

Just right click on the folder and click Create Shortcut. You can put all
your shortcuts into another folder and stick it in My Documents or wherever
you want.
