Default Wallpaper won't fill screen

Hello!

Would anyone know why photos larger than my screen resolution will not cover
the entire screen as wallpaper? I end up with about a half inch of space at
the top when placed on centered. When tiled it get a repeat of the picture
on the bottom half of the screen. I've even tried using the jpgs right out
of my camera at 2288 x 1712 and even though my screen resolution is 1280 x
1024, I still get this space at the top. Any ideas what I need to do to
correct this? Thanks a bunch! Verna

your jpeg is 4:3.

Hi Verna:

If you are running your monitor at 1280 X 1024 then a jpeg of 1280 X
1024 will fill the screen.

Just a thought, is the display of your monitor centered? If
you've fiddled with the resolution settings quite a bit,
sometimes you need to reposition and size the display in the
monitor itself.
