Hardware Profile
It's for starting the computer with different hardware/software setups.
Whichever one is first is default and will load on its own if you don't choose one with the keyboard before the timer expires. That time is also adjustable. Check Help & Support on your computer for more info. You should post only in Plain Text. You're causing problems for some newsreaders. I guess I'm really thick tonight: I don't understand. If you have 3 profiles set, as I do, then you can start the machine with access to the hardware defined by whichever one you chose to use. Period. So I'm obviously missing something probaby pretty basic about your query. Perhaps if you gave me a step-by-step on how you're doing it and precisely where the question arises w/r to what's going to happen when windows starts and what's on the screen? It's listed before windows starts because that's what tells windows what hardware it will have availalble to it. Sorry if I seem like a cement-head. lol Twayne` "Twayne" wrote in message ...
