Default Windows Messenger 5.0 to 4.7?

I have Windows Messenger version 5.0.0381. When I went to check if=20
there might be a newer version I was surprised to see the latest version =
for
download was 4.7. I must admit I have not been following this NG for a
while so I haven't heard why they regressed to 4.7. Can someone please=20
fill me in? Thanks. Bob

No need to worry, they haven't "regressed" to 4.7. However, 4.7 is still being reported (and
is what you'll find on the main site) primarily to avoid confusion (since Windows Messenger
5.0 doesn't have all the features 4.7 did, as some have been moved to MSN Messenger).
