Small Item but is there any way to make the order
of apps on Quick Launch persistent?

The order is already persistent. Mine doesn't get reset after user logoff or
system restart.

If something messes up the order, they seem to reappear in
alphabetical order.

So I rename mine
01FSCapture
02Starter
03Notepad++

etc up to about 12. Depends how wide the quicklauch bar is.

I put all my links in
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\APPDATA\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Quick Launch
Some programs install them all over the place, and I like them
all in one folder.
