Can't play movie I burned to CD.
I made a movie with movie maker. I burned it to cd. It will not play on the
cd player. It will play in my computer. I have tried it on two other computers, equiped with movie maker, and it will not play on those computers either. How do I convert this movie to some format that will play in a dvd player, and on someone elses computer? |

Capture the DV avi.
Convert the DV AVI to DVD mpg compatible. Run your DVD authoring software. And finally burn to DVD. A one hour video will take 4 to 5 hours to process depending on the speed of your machine. Nick,
I do not have a dvd burner, I have a cd burner. Do I use the same process with a cd burner? What is DV authorizing software? "Nick Burns" wrote: Capture the DV avi. Nick,
You should be able to burn your files by making a VCD. If you have the codec (MPEG 2) you can burn a Super Video CD SVCD. This should play in all DVD players or CD-ROM drives. The keyword using video on CD is VCD or SVCD. You can go to
www.videohelp.com and find conversion tools and tips and what players support which VCD formats (as there are even different data rates for VCD). You also need software to support the VCD format to view those on a computer. IIRC, VCD is MPEG1. "spir" wrote in message ... I made a movie with movie maker. I burned it to cd.
