Maybe...
Your statement and links don't agree

The Win8 and Dell Driver disk link yields a picture of Office H/S 2010

The 'hard to get' Office link yields a picture of Dell's provided
Windows XP Sp3 and Driver disk (not Windows 8)

And the OP still did not get Windows 8 or Office 2010 for free.

Media, OK, maybe he got those for free (as opposed to a nominal fee
which is often the case when ordering replacement media from an OEM,
hardly much of an achievement) but he still paid for the license,
whether bundled with an OEM PC or otherwise.

Thanks for pointing that typo out.

I apologize for accidentally mixing up the two links.

THIS is the free backup disc for MS Office 2010 H&S from Microsoft:

THIS is the free backup set for Windows 8 & drivers from Dell:

To obtain the free MS Office 2010 backup disc, just call Microsoft:
800-360-7561

To obtain the free Windows 8 operating system backup disc, call Dell:
800-624-9896

Actually, I got a "retail" version of Microsoft Office 2010 H&S for free
since I never bought that retail version.

What I bought was a Dell PC which came with an OEM version of MS Office
2010 H&S.

So, I *did* get a totally free license of MS Office 2010 H&S.

I'm surprised you missed that since I had provided all the details.

In addition, I got free overnight FedEx shipping and handling on both
the Dell Windows 8 and driver backup media, and on the free Microsoft
Office 2010.

I was willing to pay, but both companies cheerfully waived all fees.

My point in telling this is to let others know what's possible to
get for free from Dell and Microsoft by way of operating system
and office backup media.

Well the links are correct now for one to Office the other to Windows,
yet the Windows picture is XPSp3 not Windows 8!
