s3 twister graphics and geforce 256 compatibility
i have a packard bell laptop with windows xp and s3
graphics twister k+ s3 hotkey graphics adaptor. trying to install indiana jones and the emperors tomb (graphics card Geforce 256 or greater required), it will not run as saying "(render) unable to initialise d3d on my system, video card unable to support hardware transformation and lighting" is it possible to update drivers and from where or is this a hardware problem and game is incompatible? any help or advice on this will be gratefully received plain language please. |

If there are updated graphics drivers available they will be found at the

You've answered your own question with the "graphiocs card GeForce 256 or greater required" comment. The S3 chipset just can't cut it... Bear in mind that laptops are not really intended for game playing and most do not have sophisticated 3d capabilities... Lorne |
