Default unable to save movie maker files to cdrw

Hi Jon,

I'm having the same problem, so I tried that, but to no
avail. The recording is enabled on the drive properties,
and I can use CDRWin or Nero without problems but MM2 says
there is no recordable drive. And explorer seems to
recognize it as a recorder, but always says there is no
recordable media in it. I've tried with cd-r and cd-rw
with the same results.

Another interesting side note is that the IMAPI CD Buring
service always shuts itself right down whenever I try and
use explorer or MM2 to burn a disc.

Any more ideas?

Thanks,
Ryan

Hi Al,

Go to "My Computer", right click on your CDRW,
select "Properties", look for "Recording" tab and then
tick "enable recording from this drive". Worked fine for
me, hope it does for you....jon.

Any ideas about my problem also posted today under my
name jon barker?
