Default Windows 8 and windows 10 dual boot.

I have windows 8 on an internal hard disk, the laptop has secure boot
disabled.

I have an evaluation copy of windows 10 installed on an external usb disk.

When I boot into windows 10 the product key is flagged as invalid, it has
been changed to the windows 8 one.

I can of course re-enter the correct one but do not want to have to do this
every time, any help appreciated.

Hey, folks, let's start a new flame war about multipostng vs
crossposting.

It's too quiet around here tonight... :-)

You go ahead and start. I gave up beating that dead horse years ago. I know
us old retired IT guys are gluttons for punishment and thrive on adversity,
but I drew the line on this argument.

My position has always been CP, not MP, but others will disagree, if for
nothing else than grins 'n' giggles LOL :-)

No way...I'm not as dumb as I look :-)

Well, it's a new day, and I'm not craving so much excitement as last
night, so I'll withdraw my request.

As if anyone cares ;-)
