Default CD Recorder Not Detected When Trying To Save To CD

Hi all,

Does the CD-R or DVD-R need to be HIMAT compatible to be
recognized by Windows MM 2? I get the CD Recorder not
recognized error when I try to save a video file to CD.
I can save the video file just fine to my computer hard
drive.

I have a Plextor CD-R: PX W1610A and a Pioner: DVD-RW DVR-
105. Is there a way to have MM2 recognize at least one of
my drives?

Thanks,
Frank
