Local Area and Wireless working but not visible in Network Connect
I have an IBM ThinkPad T42P running XP SP2 and have the following two problems
1) When I open Network Connections (Control panel\Network & Internet Connections\Network Connections) I cannot see any entries for my local network or the wireless even though both are working 2) If I upgrade to SP3 both the Wireless and Local connections die - I have the latest drivers for both the Local and the Wireless cards |

Hi
Disable both cards in the BIOS. Boot one time without the Network cards. Enable the cards in the BIOS, and re-install the Network. This process should refresh the whole Network installation.
