Default SP2

does SP2 have an uninstaller??? i've heard so many horror stories about
SP2....if it can be uninstalled, will system restore undo any problems it's
caused????? Thanks

Yes, you can uninstall it by going to "ADd or Remove Programs" in Control
Panel. Also, the System Restore feature will revert your pc back to a state
before SP2. That said, I have SP2 installed for about four months now and
have never had any issues with it. Most users have not experienced many
problems with SP2.

If you folow the instructions of this link, you should not either.

Yes it can be removed. There are several ways to do so. Realize that
most horror stories come from updates done on systems that were not
properly prepared - Spyware or other malware present, non sp2 updated
drivers and program patches, etc. For most the update goes just fine,
but as always, have a complete backup.
