IE needs to close down
My daughter uses IE 7.X and she has often a problems when she is using
IE.7.x and then it says "the IE has experienced a problem and needs to shut down". She says, that after an hour or so she can get back on the computer and it works, but more often than not she gets the same error. I told her it may be an overheating problem and suggested to remove the side panels, look whether the fans are running, that there is not a big dust bulidup (I do not thing that is a problem since she keeps the house very clean). Anyone want to make another suggestion? I shall pass it on to her since she does not do newsgroups. Thanks PS her machine is a windows xp, I think about 1 GB memory and a CPU of about 2 GHZ (I think) |

IE needs to close down
Hello,
Try running IE7 without add-ons Go to Start Programs Accessories System Tools Internet Explorer 7 (No Add-ons) to start without any add-ons. Close the browser and see whether the problem occurs again. If the problem does not occur again, start IE7, go to Tools Manage Add-ons and disable all the add-ons and enable them one by one till the problem appears and you get the culprit. -- Singapore Website Design http://www.bootstrike.com/Webdesign/ Singapore Web Hosting http://www.bootstrike.com/WinXP/faq.html Windows XP FAQ "Ritter197" wrote in message . ..
