Yup. And the ones who beg others to not even talk to someone who has a
different view of technology. Just weird.

So the 'STFU' identifies "the type".

And instead of having a discussion or agreeing to disagree, they just
arrogantly insist that what THEY believe is "the only way" and tell
everyone who disagrees with them to SHUT THE **** UP, like they have
some kind of policing authority or it adds weight to their [most likely
thin] position or argument. Alternately it may be because *THEY* don't
like you, and so they want you to go away, because they're still in Jr.
High School or something. Too bad, they just can't have their little
exclusive country club or clique.

Right. I say use what you like. If you happen to agree with me, great! If
you happen to disagree with me, great!

Meanwhile, in a forum on technology, let's talk about technology. My
personal focus is usability: how do you get tasks done and how well does a
system handle it. Others have other focuses. Great!

And we all make silly and wrong comments from time to time. Oh well. Admit
it and move on.

So yeah, I generally *HATE* who they are to the core, and will do
whatever I can to *EXPOSE* the STFU trolls for what they a ignorant,
arrogant ass-hats, and potentially, bullies and control freaks.

I do not hate... but I recognize them for what they are.
