Default File Signature Verification

Can I turn file signature verification off in Win XP?

When I change the taskbar and add a new toolbar...after
rebooting, my new toolbar is gone. Does this have
something to do with file signature verification?

Thanks,
~Vern~

Default File Signature Verification

Hello Vern,

| Does this have something to do with file signature
| verification?

I doubt it.

I suggest you visit MS-MVP Kelly's website at
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Note the instructions at the top of the page,
then scroll down to line 164,
(Restore Taskbar to Default Functionality)

Right-click the hyperlink, then click | Save Target As |
to download the file, "",
"xp_taskbar_desktop_fixall.vbs",
then double-click and follow the prompts.

You might also like to do some reading on "Taskbar"
at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_t.htm

You might also need to download the file,
"savesettings.reg" from Line 54,
(Save settings on exit) at
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
