Default SM Bus Controller Driver

I had to reformat my hard drive the other day and i
noticed today that in my device manager their is a
exclamation point next to SM Bus Controller. what is this
for and any idea how to fix this issue. it says "drivers
for this device not installed". i tried to install
drivers from there, but it couldn't find a driver. i also
tried to search from both the driver disk that came with
the computer and a Windows XP cd and no luck. if anyone
has any info that may help that would br great. Thanks...

SM Bus Controller driver is probably on a CD that should have came with your
motherboard. If you don't have it go to your motherboard's manufacture's
website

Thanks

If your PC has a smart card reader, the drivers will be found at the PC
manufacturer's website. (SM Bus Controller is often a Smart Card reader)
