Default XP doesn't show my CD/DVD :-(

XP doesn't show my CD/DVD :-(

.... the problem is that i cant "see" my dvd and cdrw in XP - but i see them
in BIOS. In devices show a yellow circle but when i uninstall for examble
dvd-drive and install the driver again the porblem still rmain.

You need to apply a registry fix for this.



Try this:
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_d...cd_dvd_fix.htm
When open, go to Restore CD/DVD Drives to Explorer.
Download and install it. It worked for me. Let me know if
this took care of it.
