Rec'v Fax when system is on standby

I 'am using outlook 2000 under xp. The send and receive
fax features works fine. I had replaced my modem and now
my system doesn't come out of standby when the phone ring
for an incoming fax. I have check the modem parameter to
allow the system to come out standby. Does anybody have
any ideas.
