Default Win10 Needs Networking App or Wizard

Microsoft needs to create an app or a "wizard" for Windows 10 to assist
with creating home (LAN) networks.

The settings are so spread out; the conflicts are so varied; and the
results from a Google search are so outdated and/or non-related that it's
high time Microsoft recognizes that many end-users are frustrated by
Win10's default settings; randomly located controls & switches; and, update
conflicts (like the one which screwed so many networks with the media-
streaming device glitch). Consider the sheer numbers of new users that do
not have some experience with previous versions.

Right now, I have resolved the media streaming device glitch (on a hard-
wired LAN using a quality router) but after a series of Windows updates on
a new laptop, lost that connection to the local network. It can see and
access the other computers, but the other computers cannot see it in their
Network configurations. One exception did see it, but would not allow
access; then upon reboot [of the exception] could not see it anymore.

This should be simple and methodical; like it was with Windows XP.

I am only dealing with wired connections right now but I want any station
autorized to access the router to have complete access to file sharing on
the other computers on the LAN while each computer on the LAN can determine
which files and/or drives can be shared. The password protected access to
the router is sufficient security for my needs now; however, the need for a
"wizard" type access is needed because most users might want to change
their settings for a particular computer or situation, and boink there
you go again, having to spelunk through all these various settings which
ostensibly only pertain to the network...

I'm pretty sure a Microsoft engineer could compile a software utility which
accesses all the networking functions on a single computer which are
indigenous to Windows 10, and organize them in such a way as to give the
end-users a simple and logical way to control their networks [step by step]
without confounding the other computers on the same network - and save the
time & effort of bumping around a myriad of settings to figure out what the
bleep is going on now...

This turned into more of a rant than a question, but someone might be agile
enough to construe the question[s]. If not, perhaps someone could pass this
on to Mr. Gates for me.

Thanks in advance.

So why are you telling us this crap? We are not Microsoft and we don't
have any influence over Microsoft.

Have you thought of contacting Microsoft direct and telling them what
they should be creating for your satisfaction? We can only help you to
patch up your damaged brain so if your brain is damaged then let us know.

With over 600 million devices now running Windows 10, customer
satisfaction is higher than any previous version of windows.

Seriously?

It's already "paint by numbers" easy. My 8 year-old grandson can do
this. Maybe he's a "wizard" by your defintion.

If you can't figure it out, you have no business running a LAN.

You cannot even post to usenet without HTML, so it's obvious that you are
useless. BWHAA, pun intended. Go to uselessnet where you don't belong either.

No. It's a setup for some moron to practice snarky vitriol for absolutely
no good reason. Perhaps to feel better about yourself. Hope that works out
for you someday. Not.

If that were so there would be Google hits which were recent and relevant.

I don't beleive any of your descendents skipped your retarded gene[s].

Unless he's a computer program from the Win9x days... which incidentally
was easier than than the mess Win10 has chopped and pasted together.

OK. Since I figured it out but you don't need to know about that.
