Default Touchpad on Windows 8.1 laptop no longer works

In preference to using the touchpad I started using a wireles USB mouse.
This was fine as I had the choice of using the touchpad or the mouse.

Unfortunately I also started using a second wireless mouse - like you do -
and while both mice worked the touchpad stopped working. How do I get my
touchpad working again?

John.

Probably it is disabled. Have you tried by going to:

Control Panel\Hardware and Sound

Then look for something like this:

When you click on the Mouse icon, you get this:

Hope this helps.
