OS Windows XP Professional w/SP2 Compaq Presario Intel Pentium 4 2.4GHz 1GB RAM IP 192.168.1.101 SUBNET MASK 255.255.255.0 4 Hub Linksys Router w/Cable Modem Attached WORKGROUP Workgroup HOST NAME ******* NODE TYPE Hybrid IP Routing Enabled NO WINS Proxy Enabled NO Client for MS Networks checked File and Printer Sharing for MS Networks checked Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) checked (Also Symantec Network Security Intermediate File Driver, QoS Packet Scheduls are checked) System 2 OS Windows XP Home Edition SP2 HP Pavilion dv1000 Pentimum M 1.5GHz 1.28GB IP 192.168.1.100 SUBNET MASK 255.255.255.0 4 Hub Linksys Router w/Cable Modem Attached (same one as SYS 1) WORKGROUP Workgroup HOST NAME NEWLW NODE TYPE Unknown IP Routing Enabled Yes WINS Proxy Enabled No Client for MS Networks checked File and Printer Sharing for MS Networks checked Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) checked (Also Symantec Network Security Intermediate File Driver, QoS Packet Scheduls are checked) I can ping SYS 2 from SYS 1 I cannot ping SYS 1 from SYS 2 I can see SYS 2 from SYS 1 and all Shared Files and Drives are Available I Can See Local Network Files and Shares for SYS 1 on SYS 1 I Can See BOTH systems on MY NETWORK PLACES I cannot access SYS 1 from SYS 2 On SYS 2 I also cannot share a printer connected to SYS 1 I can access the Internet through the Linksys from both SYS 1 and SYS 2 When troubleshooting connections, systems report everything is working properly WHAT CAN I LOOK FOR TO TRY AND FIX THIS ISSUE??? -- Life Is Tough.
