Need Help!
I have a HP psc1210 all-in-one and can not get it
installed on my computer running windows xp. When installation is almost complete i get an error message that it can not be installed, the RPC server is unavailable. Have dealt with support from HP and they told me to reformat my hard drive. That just doesnt seem right, so other help would be great. Have tried it a number of times with the same results!! Please if any one has an ideas let me know!! Thank you in advance |

Need Help!
The spooler service is most likely no running. This could be caused by the
setup program stopping the spooler and not restarting it (or the restart failed), other printer software not uninstalled correctly, memory corruption by a print driver that is causing the spooler service to crash, or the spooler service was not started at the time you ran setup. In Admin Tools / Services locate the Print Spooler service and verify that it has started. If not start it. If you have an other printer installed print a couple of test pages and verify that the spooler will stay running for a few minutes. Now run setup again. If you had a Lexmark printer be sure to pickup the cleanLexmark tool from lexmark.com for which ever printer. -- Alan Morris Windows Printing Team Search the Microsoft Knowledge Base he http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;[ln];kbhowto This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. wrote in message ...
