fax

i am using hp2210 all in one fax,scanner,printer,copier
on a cable modem internet connection to my isp. my phone
line is with the same company and as far as i know the
same cable is used for phone as internet.(cable
connecting me to isp)can any one tell me -do i need my
fax connected to phone line or what. or does my internet
connection enable me to receive/send fax through cable
modem.any help would be greatly appreciated

Faxing can only use phone lines.
