John Doe is a moron and his posts shouldn't receive the attention of the
newsgroup in general.

Yeah, a Dickhead moron.

Anyone who disagrees with him about anything is a
troll and apparently, he finds himself hilarious by using the term
"maroon" rather than "moron."

The idiot is one of the bigger trolls here. Too bad the Dickhead can't
compete.

I initially didn't like the start menu, and replaced it with Classic shell.
After going back and forth between the two, besides me getting to like it,

Agreed, except I'm not even using classic shell anymore (I did with Windows 8).

it is an adjective for a brownish color and also name of small group of people in
Indonesia.

pretty sure I've seen it used to mean 'moron' with the deformation being for
emphasis, I suppose like writing 'stoopid' or similar.

Because if the older version you are running is working well, why take
the risk that the newer version may cause you problems.

As has often been said about many things, if it ain't broke, don't fix
it.

Stoopid is because yanks don't speak proper English not nohow.

Maroon is a typographical error which may seem amusing after consumption of at least two illegal substances.

Doesn't windows 10 still have "rollback driver" anyway?

I don't use a seatbelt unless it's deep snow and I'm driving fast. Why worry about what probably won't happen?

All I do with the start menu is:
1) Click restart/sleep/etc.
2) Open the control panel.
3) Open one of the six MRU applications.
4) Use the search to get a non MRU application.

The only fault I'd say is that 6 isn't enough MRU. I have made it in a suggestion to M$ somewhere.

I keep temporary stuff in a folder called "temp" in the root of the hard disk. I do not use the desktop for anything except displaying random photographs. It's useless to use to launch things, as you have to minimise what you're working on first. Mac users like desktops.

Everything is already in the start menu, although not sorted so you can find it easily, which is why I use the search, I just type the first few letters of the program. But most of the time it's one of the top 6, so it's sat right there in front of me.
