Default Did you lose your microphone use after 1803 update? Not your devicesfault.

If, like me (Win 10, x64) you lost the use of your microphone after the
megaupdate of v.1803 (circa 19 May for me), the issue is not drivers nor
your hardware, but the default settings under Settings Privacy
Microphone.

The default setting of this was probably altered, rendering the mic
inaccessible ('off'). Switching it on solves the problem.
