Default win 7 won't delete png images

win 7 home premium 64 bit

Just getting rid of the useless microsoft games folder, I am told I do not
have permission to delete the png images. Everything else deletes.
So I go to set permissions. Nope. Can't do that either. It will not change
from "creator owner".

I change ownership, go through the hoops, click ok. All appears to be fine.
But nope. Windows is saying **** you. We're not allowing you to make the
damn changes on this. You're stuck with it.

It's my god damned ****ing machine! If I don't want your crap on it then
that is my right. What the hell is so damned privileged about a frickin
image?

Now how do I fix it?

They do - it's you who's making it damn hard.
Control Panel Programs and Features Turn Windows features on or off.
Clear the Games box.

Does that actually remove all copies from the machine (including from
the more-or-less-image of the install DVD), or just remove their
shortcuts?

Just removes the shortcuts. All of Windows 7 is always installed, but
there is really no reason to actually delete anything. Deleting bits and
pieces to free up disk space in these days of terabyte drives is silly.

Once you get to "Turn Windows Features On or Off", the entry for Games
is at the top of the list on my systems. (Win 7 Home and Ultimate,
both x64)

Start Help and Support enter ' delete games ' into the search box.
First item returned describes how to remove a game or games.

try "Long Path Tool". it fixes all this type of problems when deleting
or copying the files.
