Windows Mail Folder in Windows 7
There is a Windows Mail folder in my Program Files Folder. It has only an
en-US folder under it with msoeres.dll.mui, WindowsMailGadget.exe.mui and WinMail.exe.mui in it. I did a clean install of Win 7 and use Live Mail as my email client. Why is the Windows Mail folder there and my I delete it? Thank you. |

maker... There is a Windows Mail folder in my Program Files Folder. It has only an en-US folder under it with msoeres.dll.mui, WindowsMailGadget.exe.mui and WinMail.exe.mui in it. MUIs are language files. Possibly needed for the Live version of the product (localized language files). I did a clean install of Win 7 and use Live Mail as my email client. Why is the Windows Mail folder there and my I delete it? Are they taking up that much space??? |

It's just part of other MS email programs - if you might use one, I suggest leaving it alone. -- Joel Crump |
