XP networking to Windows 2000 Computer
Windows 2000 is very finicky. A lot of it can be solved
by being careful with Users and Passwords permissions. Make sure your XP computer has the proper permissions. There is a good knowledge base article on the subject. -----Original Message----- I have on my main computer XP and trying to network to another pc but it has Windows 2000. I can see the computer in my workgroup but when I try to access it, I get the message that access is denied to that resource and also it says there might not be enough server storage available to process this request. I tried using the network wizard diskette on the other pc, but since it is 2000 it does not work. Any ideas???? Thanks, David A. . |
