Digging into DISM commands for my own edification.

In the MS Technet Library, you can find a number of pages like this,
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/.../hh825258.aspx, that appears
to only have a specific subset of DISM commands. There are other
similar pages.

Does anyone know of a site that "has it all"? Basically, everything you
ever wanted to know about DISM explained in non-technical terms?

What do you want to do with it?
From my understanding, DISM is not a thing to play with. I may be wrong.
I have used it. And I've got a few commands written down that I could use. Used in this order:
%windir%\system32\Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
%windir%\system32\Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
%windir%\system32\Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

The first 2 check health of the store, but the last tries to fix it. The last is the one to be cautious with.
Kinda like regedit from what I see/hear. So other than these I stay away.

PS, on the one time I had a corrupted store, the DISM /restorehealth did not work. I wound up reloading the system.
Wouldn't load windows updates.

Interested in what it does, and if anything is worth committing to memory.
