Default Microsoft Updates

Is there a way to select the downloads rather getting all of them
I do not want to install IE8 but Microsoft has it in my download
list
I want to get all the other fixes but not IE8
Thanks
Bob

Default Microsoft Updates

1- Tell Windows Security Center to inform you when new updates are
available but not to download them automatically.

2- Select Custom instead of Express when you access Microsoft Update.

BTW: Microsoft Update never downloads 'all fixes' automatically. It only
downloads Critical Updates, and then only if you tell it to do so.
Internet Explorer 8 is a High Priority update, so it will not download
(or install) automatically.
