Default XP/HP 2410 Photosmart

Sorry, but I have another question. I think I might be answering my own
question here, but I'm not sure, and I want to know for sure. Because of
XP's built-in fax, and having the HP PSC 2410 (which was just installed),
with a built-in fax, I won't be able to default to the printer, ever, will
I? Again, thank you for any input (no pun intended).

I too, am trying to use my built-in fax. I have HP's 2210 all in one as well as am on DSL - can't seem to get my computer fax to work either.

You cannot fax in the 'normal' way through a DSL line. It is a digital
connection. To fax, you MUST use an old fashioned analog modem connected to
an old fashioned analog phone line.

You can use an online fax service such as www.efax.com.
