unable to reposition task bar alongside bottom of desktop
the task bar has moved to the right side of the desktop
and I can not drag it back to its original placen at the bottom of the scree. Please help. Jorge

Jorge, Right-click the taskbar and uncheck "Lock taskbar" option. Now, click on a blank area in the middle of the taskbar and drag it towards the bottom.
