Default TaskBar will Not Auto-Hide

I have set the option for my taskbar to auto-hide but it
will not hide... it gets stuck showing the programs I have
open... It has gotten worse and worse until now it will
not hide unless I deselect then select the option.. but
the first time I bring it up after that it stays up...

I have searched Microsoft and found no patches that seem
to address this problem...

Does anyone have any suggestions...

Thanks

AutoHide does have its issues. Try the utility on line 190 (right hand
side): http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Start/Run
Type "control userpasswords2" ENTER

On Users tab, Uncheck "Users must enter..."

Could not be, you must have switched the posts.

I got to blame someone else somehow no matter how weak it seems.
Thank you for getting the correct answer to him.
