Default Screen font size?

Setting up my mom's system and she need larger font size in MSIE.
I have overridden the font size-- Tools-Options-Accessibilty- checked
"Ignore font sizes specified on webpages" which lets her adjust fonts using
Page-Text Size(smallest, smaller, medium, etc.) so she can increase font
size as needed.
Problem is on some sites anything on the right side of screen is placed down
the left side bottom of screen. It's as if there are 3 columns and the 3rd
column drops to bottom of page.

Is there a way to keep screen looking 'normal'?

Hope I've explained this correctly and looking for solution.

Thanks for any help,

Hello,

Rather than using the text size adjustment, use the Zoom feature of IE7
located at the bottom right of the IE7 window.

Many site designers don't cater their site to such accessibility adjustments
hence the funny happening. You can either get used to it or switch to using
the zoom feature.
