You really are pretty clueless about the state of affairs I am
afraid. Wine is impressive but not good enough.

And even then there is the issue of it using the USB ports properly.


No it is just that as I've seen the progress of Linux in the last 5
years, I can extrapolate out.


So can I.
It's gone from about 0.001 percent usage to maybe 0.2 percent usage on
the desktop.

By any other metric, that would be considered a huge failure.
Especially after 17 years or so.
