Default Start menu irritation

Can't seem to delete some items from the start menu, Ebay was first I
noticed this. No right click Delete option! Anyway to do it?

Also notice can't right click and drag and drop from menu to create a
shortcut. Why take that out? Means now I have to look in Properties then
Open File Location to locate app to create it directly instead ... argh!

I found making links to the
/Users/Alan/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs folder
and the other one in /ProgramData/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs
folder were the most simple way around editing the menu.

I just made shortcuts to them on my desktop and called one MINE and the
other ADMIN menus.

Worked for me.

Even better, instead of a shortcut on the desktop you could
have a toolbar on the right hand side of the taskbar.

Maybe consider using Classic Shell? Gets round most of these Start button /
menu issues.
