Default Outlook 2007/Win7

I installed Outlook 2007 x32 on a Windows 7 x64 machine using the comparability
mode for XP SP3. Normally, it works well but periodical, Outlook goes offline by
it's self, particularly when sending large files. I've run all of the
diagnostic procedures I can find on the 'net but have found no solution and
still have problems.
Is this a problem with Win7 or with Office?

Connected to an Exchange Server ?

Email account protocol
- Pop3, IMAP, Http ???

Typically, Offline mode is for use with an Exchange Server.
- Even in Offline mode when not using an Exchange Server account,
Outlook should still perform a Send/Receive for email account by
connecting then reverting back to Offline Mode

You might try flushing the DNS via an admin command prompt

ipconfig /flushdns

Another cause of Outlook staying in Offline mode when not using an
Exchange Server account is a corrupt pst (or ost if using Outlook
Hotmail Connector) file. Outlook provides a repair pst option (backup
the pst before running a repair).
