Laptop touchpad driver included extra featu a keylogger
Flaws in software often offer a potential path for attackers to
install malicious software, but you wouldn't necessarily expect a hardware vendor to include potentially malicious software built right into its device drivers. The only way that we can be sure that our computer isn't spying on us is by wiping the default installation and installing Windows ourself or using Linux. If I didn't play games, I'd be tempted to do the latter. |
