XP Offline Synchronization
We run Windows XP Pro on our laptops and we enable manual offline
sychronization of files/folders on network shares residing on a UNIX server. Some of our users with offline cache totalling over 2GB have been experiencing issues whereby when they go back on the office LAN, all they can see are their cached offline copies and not the network hence they receive errors when the files they have modified while away from the LAN cannot be copied to the network shares. The offline cache seems to overlap the network share. The only solution I can seem to find is to reset the offline cache. It wasn't so much a trouble at first however it's been happening more and more. Any ideas? |
