anyone know this?
Hello,
I have a removeable usb hard drive I would like to be able to boot from should the need arise. I can see the hard drive and set it up to be a boot drive from CMOS. The problem I have now is how to install windows xp on this drive to make it a bootable drive. When I change CMOS to boot from the removeable drive and insert the windows xp cd it only recognizes the local c drive in the box. I want to format the external usb drive and make it bootable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am looking to put WindowsXP Pro on it. Thanks. Jake |
